Btw, how long have they been using that commercial now? 10 years? 15 years? THey definately got their moneys worth out of it. Many/most people in the Chicago area know that commercial. It may not be up there with Empire but it really can't be that far behind.

At least 20 maybe 25 years. I remember watching the Cubs every day after grade school at 1:20 and the commercial was on once day at least.

I will know the Empire phone number forever. I remember seeing it back in the early 60's when I still lived in the Plainfield /Joliet area.
I can't remember many things but the Empire phone number is permanently etched in my brain! 588-2300 Empire! Hahaha

I absolutely love the Victory Auto Wreckers commercial. As far as I'm concerned, they could show it forever. It has become a cult icon. Definitely MUCH better than the ubiquitous Peter Francis Geraci commercials!!
