I'm very impressed with WKU's recruiting this year. Undoubtedly their best class ever.

On the scale of predicting future success in football, recruiting rankings are somewhere just above Sagarin rankings, but both are way below this guy...

You've learned faster than most others on this board that these rankings mean nothing. It took MT 5 years of winning the recruiting battles, but not games, to realize this.

Once again, Scout says we have 10 recruits... we are up to 23... so these little rankings are BS! 05-mafia

And even then, the only thing you get for finishing on top is a pat on the back and down the road something to either attribute to your success or be left wondering about after your failures.

These rankings mean very little.

True, esp. in that every FBS signee is at least a 2** (no such thing as a 1* in rivals once they get around to assigning). So the better count is number of 3* signees. Here are the true standings 05-stirthepot

WKU - 11
FIU - 10
MTSU - 8 (currently third due to better ratio)
ULL - 8
ASU - 7
UNT - 5
Troy - 4
ULM - 3
FAU - 2
USA - ?

This list hasn't been updated to reflect JJ Keels, Devin Robinson, or Robert Terrell.

If ya like playing the star game, how many of your ** star recruits have a 5.4 rating ? 5.4 is just .1 away from the 5.5 needed to be a *** star.:odie:

I gave up on the Star system a long time ago. It just seems completely arbitrary.

Ive also noticed that if a school has thier message board ON that recruting site they get much more love and in depth analyis.

Independt FAU @ 23
Rivals @ 20
Scout @ 8

Its all over for another year after tommorrow.

Very interesting.

In FAU's rivals class if our 5.4 guys haad that .1 we would have 6 more 3* recruits.
