WTF?!

Why is the BASE ASSUMPTION that we have to be in the middle of every military pissing match on the planet???

I agree. I'm just stating the rationale our government would've had since the Camp David Accords. Do you honestly think Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, or Bush II would've stayed out of another Arab-Israeli conflict?

My bad -- I was looking at it rationally. I can see where if your foreign policy is full retard, paying everybody off not to go to war so you can avoid filling the coffers of Lockheed-Martin with money and Arlington with tombstones would in fact be cheaper. In that case, half retard foreign aid is better than full retard foreign policy.

We aren't. Nor is that the assumption.

The assumption is "based" in about 175 countries.

It is ALL about the IMC and it's control in Washington. Wherever the suppliers are located, they exert a huge amount of influence over their reps. in the houses. Understandably it is about jobs..but..it is time some of these industries find "unsubsidized" incomes in the private sector creating goods and services to the public in a marketplace of competition.
