ECU v Tulsa Hail Mary discussion
In the beginning of the year people said it was gonna be one of the best plays of the year and at the end of the year noone had it on there list as best plays of the year.. why? who can beat a last minute hail mary to win a game? a 1 handed catch? that can happen at any game. but a hail mary to win it is a one of a kind.
I was at that game and it was the best game i've ever been to. Noone could ever sit down. it was a back and forth game. it was electric. even in 100 degree heat noone got tired of chanting on our Pirates.

RE: ECU v Tulsa Hail Mary discussion
If you look at the replay of the last play, Tulsa has two #1 on the field. One was a DB and the other a WR. The way i understand the rule is that multiple players on the same team can wear the same number, but they can not be on the field at the same time. If they are on the field at the same time, that would disqualify that team. So even if the hail mary had been dropped, Tulsa would have been disqualified and ECU would have gotten the win.

I dont think that has anything to do with why the play didn't get the praise it deserved it was just so early in the year.

It would have been a penalty on Tulsa, and they would have to replay the down I believe.
