Here come the Hoyas...
Georgetown goes into Philly and takes down Villanova 69-66. Hoyas have won 4 straight after a rough start.

UCONN up 68-67 with 15 seconds left in OT.

Siva for UL is very good at driving to the basket, he has made lay ups to send it to OT and double OT

Wow, UL tried to give that game away with three missed free throws down the stretch. Almost did the same thing as WVU did to themselves the other day.

Great comeback win by UL!

What the hell was UConn doing letting Siva make uncontested layups at huge moments in the game? At least make a 69% FT shooter earn the two at the line. Horrible execution at the end as well. Get a rebound down 1 with 8 seconds left and they end up with a prayer by Walker. Attack the basket.

Yep, they wasted a lot of time in the backcourt before getting it to Walker.

Marquette has made a habit of blowing these leads though. Every time I watch them I come away impressed with their skill level, but they find ways to lose basketball games against good teams (both in and out of conference so far).

Agree. If UC wants 10 wins in conference, they'd be well served to have them in pocket before the game at Marquette.

RE: Here come the Hoyas...
there are no great teams in college basketball, lots of parity

this is why i cant stand reading comments on here like "oh, such and such is ranked ___ and it was an away game, this is expected to be a loss". no, if you are a good team you should expect to actually beat good teams. it really goes to show how far this program has fallen when we are just hoping to maybe beat a half decent team at home. thats not gonna cut it if UC wants to make it back on the national stage in basketball.

the fact that there is so much parity in college basketball now makes it look even worse

on a side, i cant stand pitt. always hated them and they are the dirtiest team ive ever seen play. 31 free throw attempts so far in this game, they always get all the calls.

I win by St. Johns at home against Duke would be huge for the Big East.

And the Johnnies are crushing Duke right now. Up by 21 with about 12 minutes to go
