WMU actually has something working well. Hockey is now threatening to outdraw basketball at WMU, in terms of student interest.

Blashill was a great hire. Every once in a while our AD gets one right.

WMU has been blessed with an easier schedule to this point, but they are only 1-3 against teams abover them with still big road trips to Miami, Michigan and Notre Dame.
But if they can get that last bye for the CCHA playoffs that would be huge.

Not all the Big Ten programs are in the CCHA including arguably the best hockey program at any Big Ten school (only Michigan has a argument over Wisconsin IMO)
