Khambrel Garland 6'1" 175 lbs, safety, 5.3 Rivals rated from St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Fla. This school is one of the highest rated schools for recruits in Fla. It would be nice to establish a pipeline. Aidan Conlon 6'4" 285 lbs. OL from HF, Ill. is official also.

great pick up! had offers form Louisville and Rutgers as well. Looks like we beat out PJ for him!

STA could probably beat many FCS schools. They regularly have 5 star guys on their team.

He's a nice pickup. He had a Toledo offer and visited a couple of weeks ago, but then we filled up at safety about a week ago and stopped recruiting him. He's a pretty good player though and a good pickup for NIU.

Once you get the Florida (and other warm weather) guys, you have to keep them around for more than a year or two. Hopefully coach Doeren finds a way to create a tight knit group of guys that play for each other and feel that they are letting their best friends down if they leave the program.

Good God. That kid flies.

He looks to have excellent "football speed." I don't care what his 40 is....that highlight tape tells it all. Incredible defensive instincts.

That's also a very high level of high school football. He should slide into the MAC pretty easily, to be honest.

His tape reminds me of Kube's...except he's doing it against top competition in Florida. Kube was doing it against me.

+10,000!

Get me a smoke...this is going to be a GREAT class. Love this pick up ...If we can get that 6'6 DE from Homestead that would be the perfect finish.
