RE: Here's how much credibility Scout.com has ...
Growth and development spurts and how they skew evaluations.

A kid after his junior season might be 6'3" and 215 and not be a D-I OL prospect. Suddenly next season he is 6' 5" and 250.

I believe most BCS evaluation is done during the junior season and then the summer camps, some of these 'late bloomers' are missed simply based on the process which most BCS school employ: evaluate and commit ASAP. Some schools, e.g., Florida State, however like to hang back and evaluate and offer late.

Then schools like the MAC schools will try to find these kids which the BT, etc. has passed by.

Then the BCS schools will scramble to get tape and get involved late.

In the meantime, one doesn't think Scout.com sends an analyst out to the h.s. to remeasure and reweigh the kid.

They essentially have outdated, inaccurate information and consequently a lot of non-BCS prospects are under evaluated based on old data.

If the data was accurate one would see why their stock has risen.
