Thanks to Chris Peterson and John Evans
Thanks to Chris Peterson and the Stephens Center Director John Evans for the way they have taken care of, and how clean they have kept the Jack. It seems to be as clean today as it was the day it opened. Thanks Chris and John. I think you know that the Jack is a great source of pride to all Trojan fans, especially those who have suffered through many years at Barton. The credit goes to both of you and to the Trojan fans who have helped keep it that way. Everytime I enter the arena, I still think of how beautiful it is. Thanks again.

Very good point, LRT. There are a lot of unsung folks that make basketball games pleasant.

Now I feel like a total jackwagon for putting my feet on the seats. :(

First time I ever heard that term "Jackwagon" was on that Geico commercial with the former drill sargeant as a therapist. I love that ad. It's one of the funniest, IMO. I wonder if that's how MJS handles his clients?

I've been asked a couple of times since the Jack opened not to put my feet on the seats, and I'm glad they are doing that. And the ushers have always been very curtious when correcting me.

We have an on going thing with the ushers. When they make their rounds, we hold our feet just inches above the back of the seats - looking like we are putting our feet on the seats. They always look twice, then smile.

At some point they are going to assume that we're tricking them and BINGO-BANGO, feet on the seats. It's all part of the master plan.

Can you elaborate on the master plan?

Sure. We are trying to turn our seats into recliners.

Yeah, big thanks to the seat nazis, keeping the unwashed masses from the ghosts' chairs. But I suppose I could give them credit just this once. The Jack does stay pretty spankin' clean.

However, that might also be because hardly anyone uses it...

We can't blame the ushers. They have a job to do, and someone telling them how to do it. They have to follow their bosses orders like all peon workers do.
