Agreed. Nice win.

WMU took down a Bowdry-less EMU team, 65-48.

Amazing that BSU is the only team unbeaten so far in MAC play. Not a knock on BSU but a nod towards parity.

Now, we get that 5 games in 10 days stretch. Ouch.

RE: Down Goes Miami!
You might have misread the schedule. Just four games in 10 days. I don't believe the MAC has any three-game weeks built into the schedule this year. They used to do it once a year with the 18-game schedule along with playing a random conference game in early December.

That is by far the most ignorant statement I've ever read. You're implying that UT has a chance. 03-nutkick

Not true for WMU. They played today (Sun.), and will play Wed., and Saturday. 3 games in 7 days. I'm sure we're not the only team.

There are also 3 games in 7 days to end the regular season, from Feb. 27 - March 5 on WMU's schedule.

Sorry, I mean a week as in Monday-Sunday. You play a weekday and then again on the weekend. There was a couple years in the 18-game schedule era that MAC teams played Mon-Thurs-Sat for example.

RE: Down Goes Miami!
I get your point and remember those days. But it makes little difference.

I must have missed the memo changing the length of a week. Sunday through Saturday is 7 days and with travel the effect is the same. Tired legs and little preparation time.

This is a silly point to go back and forth on, but what you initially posted was factually wrong. WMU does not play 5 games in 10 days under any premise of what a week is, and generally every Division I college basketball in the conference schedules each team once during the week and once on a weekend.

The most common days for games are Wednesday and Saturday, but those days obviously often change because building conflicts, travel, TV, etc.

Ball State will have 4 games in 8 days starting next Saturday at Toledo, then home games on the following Monday (Morehead State), Thursday (Kent State) and Saturday (Ohio). The only good thing is that the team will not have to travel once they get home from Toledo that week.

Why do they have a nonconference game scheduled in the mist of the conference schedule (i.e., who screwed up?)?

Because if it was scheduled in a downpour, they wouldn't be able to play anyone.
