I never could see the fascination with Eminem. He has no talent, can't sing, and his songs suck...

i very much disagree with that. his flow is one of the best ever and he used to have some pretty sick wordplay and rhyme schemes. he also used to have some pretty good choruses.

it doesn't really matter if it's music or not. you either think Em has a great flow or you don't. I mean, i don't consider golf a sport, but plenty of people enjoy it and i'm sure it's probably fun to play.

do you like any hip hop? I'm assuming you do, since you would've said something about rap, not just Eminem

Em does have talent. I think he is caught in between the fire from his youth that helped break him vs. the wisdom of age he has now. He is trying to figure out where to get his fire from.

I'm not much for hip hop either, swoosh. It's just a monotonous beat, with little thought given to anything else. Any idiot can do hip hop. There's nothing to it outside the beat and a few rhymes...

Sadly, in today's hip hop you could argue "any idiot" could do it. I love the era of late 80s -90s hip hop. All kinds of styles both lyrically and musically doing well over the radio and on tv.
