Favorite prevail in women's first round games
I guess OU and NIU play Sunday. Eastern got a scare as Miami took a 15 point lead into halftime trying for the rare #12-#5 upset. Tavelyn James scored 36 and Eastern took the lead for good with a couple of minutes to play and won by 8. Akron beat WM and
buffalo ended Ball State's season.

I was really pulling for your RedHawks. I won't say that anybody can win it because it is not true, but I think this is the first time in a while when you could say five or even six teams could at least play in the final if things fell right.

Ohio and NIU play tomorrow night because NIU is hosting the wrestling championships all day today.
