Encouraging crime
The way out post men shoot FTs, they are just encouraging muggings.

I couldn't believe that one of Troy's players didn't grab Courtney when he was on the court briefly in the last minute of the game. Not sure, but maybe a grab away from the ball is ruled intentional, although I know they don't have the "hack a Shaq" rule in college.

As poorly as he shoots FT's, I would never let him get off a clear shot.

At 31% he is in danger of falling below the "Mendoza"...I mean "Burton Line". Courtney was never a great foul shooter, but its obviously become "mental" at this point.

One thing about Mario Mendoza, he'll always be famous, while a ton of guys like him that got to the majors, and were a lot better than Mario, will be long forgotten.

I must be missing something here. Who is Mario Mendoza? Is he a former UALR player? Or maybe a baseball player with whom I'm not familiar?

I assumed just about every sports fan (or, at least, baseball fan) was familiar with that term. From Wikipedia-

The Mendoza Line is an informal term used in baseball for the threshold of incompetent hitting. Even though Mario Mendoza's lifetime batting average is .215, the Mendoza Line is said to occur at .200, and when a position player's batting average falls below that level, the player is said to be below the Mendoza Line.

If Mario had been a basketball player, we probably would have probably recruited him.
