What a defensive performance by the Lady Rockets!!! They completely shut down Buffalo and MAC Player of the Year Candidate Courtney Brown in the first half. Brown was held to two points in the first half and that basket came in the last minute of the half.

This is the first opportunity I have had to see this team play this year. I knew all about Naama, Goodie, and Jessica Williams, but there were a few other players that really impressed me. Courtney Ingersall hustles like crazy, thus she is always in the right place at the right time for rebounds and loose balls. I was excited to see Andola Dortch play, as I have heard good things about her since her high school days. I was very impressed and think she will be a good one for the Rockets for years to come. I was also impressed with the defensive tenacity of Lecretia Smith.

All in all a real good performance by the Lady Rockets! It would be great to see them bring back a victory from Wood County on Wednesday Night!!! Go Rockets!!!

I've got to get a ticket to that game. BG lost to KSU who then lost to BSU. BG is not infallable altough they will be tough. If we play like we did in the first half Saturday, BG could have trouble with us. I've noticed that BG has lost its only 2 close games this year.... If I had to choose tho, I'd rather sneak up on em in the tourny. But winning both would be nice

This game will be hugh and the place may be a sell out for the first time in awhile.
