I think Gates hitting those jumpers against XU was the worse thing that could have happend to him. Now he is no longer a post player.
I said the same thing about Gates, but for a different reason. A guy that big should almost never fade away with those shots against the smaller guys he was facing against Xavier. Everyone talks about Yancy 'turning the corner' or finally becoming as good as he should be, but I still see a guy who still hasn't conquered that 'killer instinct.'

They were broke the whole game from 3, but I get why they wanted to shoot some down single digits nearing the end of the game. If one goes in it's huge. This team is going to make 3 point shots. Also, driving to the basket was definitely tough this game, even if Nova had a bunch of guys with 4 fouls. Who was doing well taking to the rim? Maybe Kilpatrick, though I think he had 4 fouls as well. Bishop had one move to the basket that I remember. That's about it. Virtually every other time they either couldn't get all the way to the rim or were blocked when they did.
