Most of you guys would complain about winning the lottery. Good gracious... for 4 years we've complained about the lack of progress in the program or about the coach or about not being ranked. At least now, for a short while only maybe but still... UC is ranked again!! I bet the other 295 or so teams wouldn't be complaining!

Good job Bearcats and the Coaching staff.

Nice to see the Cats are opening eyes. XU will give us all they have regardless if we are ranked or not and since nobody on the team has beat XU, especially the seniors, I don't think we have to worry about a lack of focus come Thursday. The important number is 0 in the loss column. Not very often teams get a chance to knock out an unbeaten, so while that is still 0, we likely will really get everyone's full attention.

I'm willing to bet that our 3 game losing streak means that Xavier has a target on their back. And as angry as this team has played that's not good for them.

I think it's ludicrous to think xavier will be gunning harder with uc in the top 25. It's the shootout for god sakes...xavier fans are obsessed with big brother and the players feed off that,

I also would rather be ranked than not ranked (though I firmly believe in the scheme of the season rankings are meaningless, I also think the prestige and attention your program gets is positive). I think the ranking going to your heads is an overuused cleche as well. Congrats to uc being ranked. Getting basically involved beating bad teams, but staying there will require some good basketball to be played. I'm pumped for thursday and the rest of the year.

The seniors have never beaten Xavier. They'll come out strong and I'll be surprised if UC drops this one.

All that ranking means is that highlights of our crushing of Xavier will be on SportsCenter.

Amen to that, Cal. We've seen the mountains and we've seen the valley...I am for climbing a high as we can get so the valley is a blur.

Not that I disagree, but for the record UC was rated last year as well.

1/3 of top 25 is Big East....yeah, domination

7/16 = 44%
8/16 = 50%

Now that is old school math. It may be something else is today's mathematics. I was never real good with cypherin' but I'm pretty sure that is the way they taught me on the slate board.
