Routinely, but not always. She is averaging 18.7 ppg.

Nope, but he was very consistent.16.0
14.5
12.7
15.4

I guess that he didn't have to average 20 points. Everyone on Newell's teams could score pretty good. That refers to those who played quite a lot. I can think of a 7 footer who didn't score much, but he didn't play much either. If you wanted to play for Newell, you'd better be able to score.

RE: Official Saint Bonnie Thread
That's a pretty good recipe to play for any winning team. Our program's system doesn't lead to high scorers. Our objective is to play defensive ball and keep the score in the 50's or 60's. That being the case, there isn't a lot of room for scorers. Most of our players who could score don't get enough shots. Matt is getting four or five shots a game. He's making a good percentage, but you sure can't score big time shooting 5 times a game. Solo took 12 shots last game. Everyone else just took a few. That's why nobody else scores much.
Any really good shooter, if he has any sense, is going to look at our box scores and figure out he isn't going to be allowed to take a lot of shots here, so that's why we so seldom have really great shooters. If you can run and jump and play defense, but aren't a great shooter, this is the program for you.

The difference between high scorers and not is sometimes just the pace of the game. High scorers aren't critical. It is GOOD scorers that you want.

Wow. They have a 6-9 big man who averages 22.4 points and 9.3 rebounds. We better use up a lot of our fouls or have Bails play the game of his life.

Put Chucky on him. I saw him block one of Gus's shots in pickup game last summer. He has some hops. Obviously TIC

Wow, is right. That is the kind of numbers that gets you to the next level. It will be interesting to see what happens with him.

Our best big men in the past have averaged around 12 points a game. Last few years, we're lucky to get 5 out of them.

Can't help you. My Commodore 64 just barely streams photos.

We've had several road games on there, but I don't know about home games. I've never looked on it to see if any of our home games are there or not. You can check it out. Sometimes our road games aren't listed until later in the day.

It's not on tonight, but you might go to our official website and see if Trojan Tracker is carrying it. You can buy a one game deal for around $6.00 if it's available.

RE: Official Saint Bonnie Thread
I am just getting home. So, 40 minutes after the game no one has anything to say? Lite crowd tonight.

On a brighter note I brought my 7 year old and he loved it.

The Good
Chucky is a piece of the puzzle you can build around

It is conference time, so I don't think anyone else will out class our bigs like St Bonnie did tonight.

The Bad

Our Bigs just can't play above the SBC level. Sad stuff.

The only bright spot on this team is Chucky Guy. He's a player. Sometimes he tries to do too much. That's what freshmen sometimes do. He needs to be starting and playing about 30 minutes a game. I mentioned no offense in a previous post. Well, I was wrong, we've got one. Watch Solo dribble, and everyone else get out of the way.

You called it. They did one better, the unlucky 13.
