Have you watched those ETSU cheerleaders? They work hard, do their jobs well, never lose their enthusiasm.

Ever watched their coach watch them? They can't slack off because there is no place to hide from the eyes of former UAB cheerleader Tammy Bartow.

When the dome is dead...fans sitting on their hands...the ETSU cheerleaders are loud and serious...no slacking off, no winking at boy friends, no chatter among them about what to do after the game.

I suspect the cheerleaders get some sort of scholarship to motivate their time commitment. They do a great job working in conjunction with the pep band.

The only fault I can apply to the spectating ETSU experience is to the Buc crowd... I think they are such students of the game that they forget to cheer!

Who's the better coach? It has to be Tammy...she has never lost a game. It seems she has bought into this ETSU experience. I think I heard somewhere that she coached cheerleaders at UAB as well.

Sometimes I think she is more into the game than Murry. I wonder what they talk about over dinner...their kids, UAB days or Bucs?

I wonder how her and the ETSU Anti spirit squad get along? Barb and Mullins hate for people to cheer or make noise.
During the Cancun trip Tammy Bartow was screaming like a a banashee several times, at least that is who Jay said it was. He also said she was getting on the officals. No way the country club crowd would approve of that.

If you are an ETSU leader...you ought to be making more noise than anyone in support of your school. The loudest one at the game should be the president himself. Lead by example.

Perhaps a little cheering class ought to be in the employee orientation at ETSU. There is no question, if ETSU employees supported athletics, attendance would be triple what it is now. As their employer...you can't tell your workers what to do off the clock...I would just tell them if they want their career to prosper at ETSU...it would help to go to the games.

You want your school to get to the next level...you better support it. If I was a leader, I wouldn't want anyone working for me that wasn't all ETSU.

I guess the ACLU will come looking for me now.

I don't know if Mullins cheers or not...but if he doesn't, I would use that in his termination explanation.

BTW...wouldn't it be cool if Donnie Abraham attended last night's game as an invited guest. Perhaps he was let in on a little plan of the return of ETSU football...nah, that can't be it. ETSU hates football. Can't bring it back because might lose a little face.

Mister, the mere fact last night that Donnie was even recognized officially gave me a boost if only a little. Previous to this they have shunned anything relating to football including Coach Smith. I am always hoping that this could be the thaw we have been waiting for. Could it be.... Do you think we are maybe, possibly closer to an "announcement"? At least there is a glimmer of hope now.

bucfan81...you will have to fight me to be first in line to purchase tickets. To be at the return of ETSU might be enough to watch a grown man cry. I'll be dead in the next twenty years...I don't want to live the next twenty without ETSU football. ETSU send me off to paradise watching ETSU Donnie Abrahams, Earl Farrells, Mike Smiths, Hal Morrisons of the future.

Making disrepectful comments about Seth Coy and Tim Mullins deaths. Not making a joke about a sometimes hyper (mega-hyper) poster. I tell you what if you do actually die (something you brought up first, not him) and Fan1 makes a joke I will personally report him to swagger.
