-The Mean Green have tied the school record for non-conference wins with an 11-2 mark out of league this season. North Texas was also 11-2 non-league in 1952-53.

-North Texas is tied for 13th in Division 1 with an active 13-game home winning streak. This is the fourth longest home win streak at North Texas and the longest home win streak in the Johnny Jones era.

-North Texas has its best record through 13 games since 1976-77 at 11-2. The last time North Texas started 12-1 was in 1952-53

-The Mean Green have won their last four games by a combined total of 83 points, an average of 20.8 per game.

-Dating back to last season, North Texas has now won 22 of their last 23 games against unranked opponents.

-North Texas has not dropped a home non-conference game since December 29, 2008, a 80-75 loss to UT Arlington

-North Texas has now won its last 24 games when they have a halftime lead

-The Mean Green are 81-16 under Johnny Jones when scoring 80 or more points

-North Texas is now 6-1 in December, and has a chance to have the best December since 1975, when the Mean Green went 8-1 in December.

-Shot exactly 50% as a team, which marks the fourth straight game North Texas shot 50% or better.

I am feeling pretty good about this year and smelling a trip back to the tournament.

I'm a generalist these days. We'll have another podcast recorded tonight.

But yes... I am pretty happy with North Texas this year. Any chance you'll be in Hot Springs? I'm still waiting for my chance to politely and graciously tell you and Condray how strong and scary your team was if and when WE get a chance to end YOUR season for once.
