Good thing Ebay wasn't around in 1836, or Mexico would probably have been bought by someone like Herman here at the office. He is bidding on things all the time.
Sotheby's was around, but they didn't dabble in beachfront property back then, and the Spanish hated the UK anyway.
I've always liked Iowa. Great pheasant hunting on the fruited plains. Good move United States!
