RE: Lady Bucs vs Lady Vols
I hesitated to post anything for fear of blowout, but not a bad start.

Destiny Mitchell is a SEC-calibur player, no doubt about it.

Hope the Lady Bucs can keep it respectable.

I'm impressed so far. Trailing by 8 at the 8 minute timeout, but Tennessee is just on another level. Maybe another 8 levels.

Yes they are, but ETSU is playing very respectable even though it will be a 40 point game at the end. This is an instance where the experience will help greatly at the end of the season. There simply is such a difference in talent......

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Angie Bjorklund scored 16 points and hit four 3-pointers, tying her with Shanna Zolman as Tennessee's all-time 3-point scoring leader, as the No. 5 Lady Volunteers beat East Tennessee State 102-53 on Wednesday night.

The Lady Vols (11-2) used a 9-0 run to take an early lead, and a layup by Kelley Cain with 12:30 in the first half gave them a 23-11 lead.

Tennessee used its size advantage to take over the lane and got into the double-bonus with over six minutes left in the first half. They used 11-of-21 shooting from the free throw line to push their lead to 46-32 at halftime and pulled away with a 13-0 run early in the second half.

The Lady Vols outrebounded the Lady Buccaneers 53-34 and got 20 second-chance points. ETSU also committed 20 turnovers, which Tennessee turned into 26 points.

Destiny Mitchell and Gwen Washington led ETSU (3-6) with 10 points.
