Scout has him listed as a 4 star RB. I like this: Poteat: "I have good hands. I run good routes. I have really improved my breakaway speed. My vision is good. i think I do a good job on blitz pick-ups. I play physical whether it is running or blocking. I am not afraid to put my head down and get the extra yard."

RE: Poteat verbals to UC
He is the #15 back in the nation and has the makings to be the best back in UC history! It will be great to break him in with Pead still back for his last season... The other three backs are also very good and vary in size etc they s/b good for kickoff and punt returns as well as receiving. This could easily become as good a group as the wideouts next year!

RE: Poteat verbals to UC
Poteat is good, but make no mistake. In Isaiah Pead, UC has possibly its best running back in its history,
