JU losses at Winthrop
JU started as cold as the weather outside and got behind 10 to zip

Freshmen guards played like freshmen. 6 total points (Cabell) on 2 of 17 shooting in a total of 28 minutes

Winthrop has a couple athletic bigs and the 6-4 Dreher is very good

Rarely have I seen a Cliff Warren team look fatigued in the 2nd half, they did Sunday

JU missed a bunch of tip-ins and open 3's

Winthrop plays some mean defense.

Delwan Graham has emerged and Tevin Galvin has disappeared.

Graham has averaged 15.5 ppg & 7 rpg in 20 mpg and Galvin has averaged 4.5 ppg & 3.5 rpg in 25 mpg the last two games

Off to St. Louis this week, Duke just destroyed the Billikens Saturday.

Bad loss for the Dolphins, no other way to put it. Hopefully they bounce back.

Don't be surprised to see Winthrop win the Big South title again this year. They have won it 9 out of the last 12 years. Their defense is very good. LY they were 26th in D1 FG defense and allowed only 4 teams to score over 65 in their last 16 games.
