2010 SEASON, A FEW THOUGHTS:
1) Jerry Kill, after watching them play and practice last year (as we all did) and again this summer, he chose Demarcus Grady to start at QB against Iowa State...and stuck with him during the entire game. Demarcus was then almost immediately demoted to 3rd string and never heard from again. A very beatable Iowa St team I may add.

2) Chanler Harnish, injured and injury prone somehow stays healthy our entire season (knock) and leads us to the Mac Championship Game. Jerry Kill should have a poster of Harnish in his new office. Despite not starting him and somehow not injuring him, Harnish was the ticket for Kill. I love my boys, but Grady or our bruising freshman QB are not leading this team to a top 25 ranking.

3) If MECO stays, does he start over Spann and/or have more playing time (like last year)? Jerry did love Meco.

4) Um, would anyone here have played C. BELL more? Like, our last game?

I give plenty of credit to KILL, I do. And, he owes much of everything to luck. He does. And, Chandler Harnish.

Yeah - the 4th and 1, for starters.

Look, the way we handled the MAC this year was awesome. I give Kill a lot of credit, but it still remains, what really tough team has Kill beaten while he's been here? Was Purdue the best? The MAC was down this year, and we had a darn good year and we beat most of the teams we should have, but when you really go back and look at what Kill has done here...it ain't much. He could have done so much more...so many other winnable BCS games.

Now...he's still a pretty darn good coach that seems to develop players well. But I just don't think we're watching Urban Meyer walk out the door right now.

The Toledo team we beat this was pretty darn good. I don't think people realize how good that team is.

And I agree this year had more to do with Chandler Harnish than it did Jerry Kill.

Toledo seems to be a pretty good team. But they got killed by most decent teams they played. Who else did they beat outside of Purdue? BG? WMU when they were really playing terrible? EMU?

Bowl season will tell us a lot about the MAC, can't really afford to lose to these sunbelt teams.

RE: 2010 SEASON, A FEW THOUGHTS:
My thoughts on the 2010 season.....Prior to this past weekend....It was an absolute blast! I had so much fun watching Huskie football this year. Of course it's always fun when you're winning.
We had good weather for all of the home games - including our Tues.nite in November against Toledo. We have the best QB in the MAC for a change, we had Chad Spann, some great receivers....Jake Coffman came back to the team.
It has been a fun year. I would love to see our kids come out on top - against all odds - and win their bowl game for themselves.
I appreciate each and every player and the effort they put forth. And again - I really had a blast this year! GO HUSKIES!!!
