Rutgers football financial situation

I hated him when I had him as a professor for many reasons all of which are displayed in this opinion piece. Not to say he doesn't make some fair points but our financial situation for football is not dire as he conveniently leaves out the fact that the football team has turned a profit for a few years now.

I'm glad you pointed that out. From his article, you'd think football was going to be the end of the university.

You can easily tell this was a prejudice article written by an individual with an axe to grind. The picture was of last weeks game when the students were off for the Thanksgiving holiday, the weather was bad (as is our record this year), and the game was on TV. This was a shot of an area of the student section of the stadium that was empty. You can make something look better or worse by taking a picture of a selected area that supports your position.
