Did you realize that prior to our game in Springfield
against Mo State two years ago, our 23 win season, Matt had had five straight games of 15 points or better. That's pretty amazing. I didn't recall that. But they held us to zilch shooting that night. According to Jeff, our inside players couldn't hit point blank shots and missed time after time close in. They also smothered our guards, but if our inside players had been hitting, it would have probably opened up the outside shooting. It takes both to succeed. Each game we seem to think that particular game might be an important step in figuring out where we are this year. Well if we can win or even make Mo State sweat and keep it close, we will know we've made some progress since last year. We really owe those guys. They've won every game that we've played against them.01-lauramac2
