RE: NCAA Football 2011 Dynasty (PS3)
My game vs Idaho started good. Held them on downs, got the ball back and marched down the field to score. They tied it, and then I promptly throw a pick which suddenly made them unstoppable on offense. Drove down and got a FG on me. My QB made up for it by throwing a TD pass on the first play back. Idaho would score on the very next play (sigh). I was able to get the game tied at 17 with a last second FG. The second half was better for me defensively, while I gave up yards, which still makes me mad, I held them scoreless. I got 3 scores of my own to walk away with a 38-17 win. The funniest part of the game was how Idaho spiked the ball with 4 seconds left on 3rd and 10 and instead of attempting a last ditch pass....they punted. Made me chuckle.

I love my offense, but that's the third game I've struggled in the first half. My defense is still pretty weak too. I give up too many big plays and cheap yardage for my liking. Well, 5-0 is much better than the 1-4 I was last year after 5 games

This is going to be a very busy week for me. Not sure when ill be able to play/advance us. I may be able to get a game in on Monday or Tuesday night.

Will be having surgery on Thursday to remove my thyroid, which decided it wanted to grow a tumor... so I dont know how long I will be out for that. Thursday and Friday for sure...

Take your time Tigerfan, I'd say Thyroid surgery is ALOT more important that some dumb old game.

If I do not get a response by Tuesday afternoon, I will put Rice on Auto-Pilot and play my game so we can advance.

RE: NCAA Football 2011 Dynasty (PS3)
Game of the week in the Big East, potential Big East game of the year. La Tech and Ulala had a great battle last night. He got the opening kick and threw a pick on the opening drive, I converted that into a 7-0 lead. Next ULL possession was like a scrimmage for him, mrched down the field to score, 7-7. My next series resulted in a FG, he got the ball back and got another score...then he went for 2. That kinda irked me but hey, stop it and there's no problem right? I moved down again and got a TD, instead of just kickinf the EP, I went for 2 and failed. I was frustrated most of that half because it was like pinball, he bounced off my tacklers, twice of those bounces resulted in long TD scores. The half ended 16-15 Tech.

Opening drive in the second half for ULL was much like the first half...drive and score. I scored again to take a 23-22 lead. Next ULL possession, I held him on downs!! For the First time since the opening drive my defense was more than just obstacles. That was the point of the game when my Star RB, who already had 2 TD catches, broke the game open, he broke through a seam and scampered to the end zone with about a minuite left. My defense reverted back to swiss cheese again and ULL drove down agin to score with 3 seconds left. Two point conversion time.....I knew if this game went to OT I was gonna lose. He took the snap, and ran an option, I had the QB covered but the pitch man was gonna walk in...the pitch went harmlessly to the ground as my defensive man hit the QB at the right time and I recovered the fumble! Awesome game...I had another pic in that second half but I don't remember the impact of it. One way or another it was a great game. 30-28 Tech, I move to 6-0 on the year.

Will advance us tonight. Since Bowling Green is still having issues getting to the dynasty, I will put him on Auto-Pilot until things get resolved.

Yeah, that's very strange as to why he can't access the dynasty, it's not like he can't get online because I see him on all the time. It's too bad because he's a great addition to the group, hope he can get it figured out.

What it sounds like to me is he can't access the EA servers but I'm at a total loss as to why that is.

For once, I welcome a bye week. Gives me time to celebrate LaTech being ranked in the Top 25! and as a gift, I get to play Rice next week...they seem to have my number so my stay in the rankings will probably be short
