RE: No Big Ten team for LCB
Is the Pizza Bowl EVEN TRYING to make a deal with another conference? I'd take the 2nd place team from the WAC; 4th from the Mtn West; 2nd or 3rd from CUSA; or any team from a BCS conference (if they GUARANTEE supplying a team).

I believe the Pizza People have their heads so far up the Big Ten's anchovies they simply WON"T look elsewhere. "Oo.. oo. Let's not drop the Big Ten. If we do, we'll regret it the year they can finally provide us with their 8th or 9th best team."

I meant to write 9 out of the 12 Big Ten teams will more than likely be bowl eligible. Going forward it should be a rare occurrence for the Big Ten not to be able to provide a team for the pizza bowl.

On April 12, 2010, it was announced that the Big Ten Conference has extended its affiliation with the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (Big Ten No.8) through the 2013 season. Also the Sun Belt Conference and the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl have agreed to a secondary tie-in that will allow a Sun Belt Conference team to play in the Detroit based game should the Big Ten Conference not have an available bowl-eligible team to play.

Thanks,

I don't know where I got the incorrect info.
