Well they are dummer than we thought. CNN was on Toledo's campus with bags of Dum Dums and they were praising how they are made there.

Never were made in Toledo, always made in Bryan. Maybe they were thinking of the other dum dum, corporal Clinger, he was from Toledo if I remember correctly.

We used to make barbed wire, fences, and steel! This town was tougher than a bus station steak, I tells ya.
Now? Well, we've got a White Castle. I guess it's progress.

Katie Holmes and Jim Jackson (former NBA star) are from Toledo too. Dennis Hopson too, former NBA star. R&B singer Anita Baker and comedian Danny Thomas are also from Toledo. So is Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland.
For the folks that have kids that watch Disney, Alyson Stoner is another Toledo native. She's been in some movies and on a few shows on Disney. I believe she is only 17 or 18 years old, but first started in films when she was 9 or 10 years old.

Klinger, from M*A*S*H, was from Toledo. When he wasn't wearing a dress, he would sometimes wear a Toledo Mudhens jersey.
