Ball State leading Toledo 17 -0 in Q1
I am listening to Ball State's horrible announcers, makes me appreciate all three of our crew. Long live Baker, Lindo and Kahler and go BSU

How about this stat...Austin Dantin has three pass attempts. Two were intercepted, one went for a TD. All or nothing apparently haha.

Now listening to the Toledo announcers and they are pretty good. Toledo Tom is the color announcer and he actually does a nice job.

Even if Toledo wins this game, I feel a heck of a lot better now. Ball State is bad and they hung with Toledo for half a game.[/u]

Ball State's QB started like 9/11. He has gone 2/12 since.

The only reason to be worried about Toledo is because they're Toledo. NIU is the better team.

RE: Ball State leading Toledo 17 -0 in Q1
NIU is obviously the favorite in the West, but WMU is getting better each week.

Toledo just doesn't start well at home. We spotted Wyoming a 20-2 lead heading into the 4th quarter before we woke up, but still lost 20-15. We spotted Kent State a 21-7 halftime lead before we woke up and won 34-21. Then tonight we spotted Ball State a 17-0 lead heading into the 2nd quarter, before scoring 31 straight. Ball State scored with 12 seconds left in the game against a prevent defense, to make it look better.

Until Toledo can play a full game, we are not going to be able to beat a team as good as NIU.

Dantin finished the game with just 4 incompletions, and 2 were INT's. Go figure.

Ball State croaked.
Barring injuries NIU should win out!

Toledo is lucky they can come from behind against okay teams, and they are lucky they played WMU and OU very early because those wins are looking huge now! Can't wait to play NIU november 9th:)

The MAC is so inconsistent this year, outside of NIU. BG is 1-7 and got smacked at home today by Kent State. Yet they only lost to Temple 28-27.

Ball State smacks CMU around, gets blown out by WMU and loses to EMU, and then plays Toledo really tough.

Toledo can't play a game at home without spotting the opposition at least a 17 point first half lead, but somehow is 4-0 in the MAC and is a team that starts out fast on the road (just the opposite as they are at home).

NIU is the only consistent team in the MAC, and they are consistently good. It really is their year to win it, or lose it. They hold their destiny in their hands.
