Here's what I projected and here's what happened:

What to Look For:

• A close game; early lines favor the Rockets by two to three points but one odds maker has KSU -1 It was a one score game (6 point lead) late into the fourth quarter when QB Dantin make it a 13 point difference and Isaiah Ballard’s pick at the two yard line with 3:11 left sealing the win
• The play of our OL as the barometer; despite the score in Boise, our offensive line worked hard and did a decent job against the strongest defense we faced all year Allowing just two sacks against KSU was huge and the OL, like the rest or the team, put it together the second half; too many penalties are still happening up front
• How well the Rockets offense handles #55 Nix had one solo and two assists for a total of three tackles, none for a loss and zero sacks; he was a non-factor
• The Rockets defense to yield less than 200 yards in passing yardage and less than 100 yards on the ground Close, KSU had 130 on the ground but only 145 in the air, for 275 yards total
• The Rockets to have fewer penalties than their opponents for the first time this year In my dreams; 11 for 85 yards for UT vs 4 for43 yards for KSU
• Rockets to pick off two KSU passes Just one, a big INT by Isaiah Ballard
• Look for the Rockets to return a kickoff more than 25 yards Nope, 20 yards was the longest by Ballard
• Rockets’ best home performance of the year All in the second hald
