NFL Coaches
Norv Turner, Wade Philips.
I'd be surprised if either has their job for much longer. In fact, I'm surprised they're employed today.
Think Chuckie is getting many calls these days?

RE: NFL Coaches
I'd imagine John Fox's days with the Panthers are numbered as well. They are going to throw everything they can at Cowher to try to bring him out of Favretirement.
Singletary and Mangina could also be in trouble if they continue their current suckage.

Not if they finish 3-13 or worse. I think they end up winning 5 or 6 though.

one guy loses to the rams and his team is now 0-4 on the road. The other guy just keeps losing period and is 1-4 with a big monday night football matchup against the giants looming.

RE: NFL Coaches
Aha, an answer.
Quote:Jones stopped short of indicating that head coach Wade Phillips' job was in danger; coaches like Phillips are probably safe through this season. With the CBA in danger, and a possible work stoppage on the horizon after the 2011 draft, team owners are not eager to pay two different coaches to not coach in the near future.

That doesn't usually stop $EC schools.
It makes sense though. I can't see any way that Bum's Boy is still the Cowboys coach whenever they start playing again.

Add Marvin Lewis to the list of should not be employed.
Carson Palmer should not be a starting QB either...

C'mon, not every team can need a new coach.
Although the parity in the league at this time is amazing.

RE: NFL Coaches
Here's how I see it at this point:
DEAD IN THE WATER:
Wade Phillips, Cowboys
John Fox, Panthers
ON VERY THIN ICE:
Norv Turner, Chargers (I think they creep back into the playoff picture)
Brad Childress, Vikings
IN DANGER, BUT COULD STILL SAVE THEMSELVES:
Mike Singletary, 49ers (I think 7-9 could win the NFC West this year )
Tom Cable, Raiders (they actually look pretty good right now, but you know Al Davis)
ON THE RADAR:
Eric Mangini, Browns
Gary Kubiak, Texans (needs to make the playoffs this year...should be ok)
Marvin Lewis, Bengals (I think the division title last year keeps him safe barring total collapse)
Jack Del Rio, Jaguars
Anyone I'm forgetting?

I'd be surprised if SD gets back into the picture.
I think Andy Reid is on the radar. I think Josh McDaniels is in serious danger.
Obviously, at 5-2, Tomlin looks safe. But, if they hit a slide and miss the playoffs, he's in trouble.

No. Do you mean in the NCAA?

Palmer had a really good couple of seasons. Don't know what happened after that.

Cheap shot by the Steelers.
He's never matched that after coming back, although he was adequate last year when they had a surprisingly decent running game.

RE: NFL Coaches
His first year back after his knee injury in the playoffs was very good. He has just lost his accuracy...
As far as Marvin Lewis goes, his teams continue to under perform. He has to go. If he stays it is only because Mike Brown is too cheap to pay off his contract.

this is basically what i was talking about. he was an incredibly accurate passer and an overall great QB. Reb- i don't know what you're thinking of, but not too long ago, palmer was part of that 2nd tier of QB's right below manning
