Does anybody know when the basketball open tryouts are for men and women? I didn't see anything on the site.

I don't even know if there are open tryouts. Best bet is to talk with athletic department directly.

Best bet it to talk to the players if you know any. The best way to have a chance at walking on is if the players recommend you. The coaching staff won't rubber stamp a player suggestion, but there have been a lot of walkons in the past that have come from player suggestions. Good luck.

If you don't know any of the players you may want to call one of the assistants (probably Roth or Robinson) and schedule a meeting if you can (they are pretty busy right now). While there might no be openings for walk on positions, you may be able to land a student assistant spot or something similar. Again - good luck.
