I like hosting Virginia here and then playing up in Charlottesville in 2015... but this might be making our OOC schedules tooo tough year in andyear out.
I think Our Home CUSA Schedule would be Memphis / Marshall / and 2 from (Houston / UTEP / Tulane) so while a big name will dramatically help season tickets... It would be smarter to schedule a lesser team to help us with the WIN column.
Air Force is a great option IMO but may be an overdose with Navy. So UVA or a Big East Bottom Feeder.

Some things that jump out to me:

2011 is going to be awesome! Season Ticket Record Gauranteed
2 Marquee Home Games + USM and UCF @ home + Gamecocks in Charlotte

I think a two year break from the Hokie Series is the most I would want to go without playing them. So I would want a new series renewed in 2018... with a possible Charlotte or DC game coming in the middle of the series.

I would love Home Games for 2013 and 2014 (I think having 6 home games is really important for Greenville).

Away Games negotiable for 2015 and 2016.

I know we play a great deal of Western Teams due to CUSA Membership. BUT - I think it would be nice to go after a 1 and 1 with a big program from outside our geographic region. Oklahoma / Michigan State / Texas Tech* / or Nebraska (We can get to Omaha one way or the other).

Boise State's future schedules are pretty much vacant...
and TCU's are pretty open too, but we play in texas so much as it is

Gotta love ECU scheduling! CUSA or not... our Strength of Schedule is far tougher than most BCSAQ schools.

I wish scheduling was discussed more on a national level. Except for the five OOC games the Big East Teams have to fill... most "big" programs only schedule 1 AWAY game OOC. I personally think this shouldn't be legal. I'm also a Michigan State fan and there schedule is pathetic! Even undefeated they are vastly over-rated. To ever have more than 7 home games should be illegal In My Humble Opinion

YES...possibly schedule at Texas Tech after 2018 or sooner if requested. Would like to see us schedule home/home with Maryland and Rutgers (for our Mid-atlantic/Northeast alumni). I would love for Ohio State, Michigan State, etc. to schedule us in the future...would be more competitive compared to Youngstown St., Ball State and Eastern Michigan! I would also like at crack at Florida and Florida State again (we haven't played them since the 80s and those games were competitive). Boise State would not be bad either for a home/home...but I like the fact we are 1-0 against them!

Other teams we used to play back in the day and beat (namely Missouri, Cincinnati and Miami) would a great as well.

I would rather play N.C. State way more often than UNC. IMO it's a better rivalry. Annually if possible.
Also miss the competitive games we had with Wake Forest. Don't care about playing Duke.
Like the games with Virginia Tech, South Carolina and West Virginia also....too many choices!

I think the schools out West need to try to tackle Boise St.

I definatley agree that a Rutgers/Maryland type needs to be in the picture to draw interest from our large student/alumi populations from those areas. I wish we had five slots to fill!

I would pick Maryland over Rutgers. We have a large alumni base in NJ and the DC area but I think folks here would get up more for an ACC opponent.

Eliminate UNC totally for now and just schedule N.C. State. NCSU/ECU is way more fun because both fanbases are more passionate about football and the game generates a lot for the local economy.

Duke, Wake Forest and Appalachian State on the shelf as well for the forseeable future. No benefit in scheduling either at this time.

Boise isn't too important for me but would generate a lot of national interest (as long as Boise remains relevant). This would be low on my importance scale for scheduling.

Would like to schedule Florida State in the future and either Georgia, Florida or Auburn. Michigan State as well!

I'd love to go to UVA again.

I'd be interested in playing Boise State in a home-and-home. I emailed TH about the idea and he responded that it is against current policy (non-conference games are supposed to be regional), but that it would be a nice idea and he is currently exploring all options. FWIW.
