They do but as mentioned before the SHC crowds do not feel that they should abide by the rules. Would be interesting to know if those already there have even rented the space. The tents look larger than the 10x10 allowed and are not even in the mandated place for the tents.

Any bets on how bad that newly laid grass will get torn up? It'll look like Tom Lee Park after Music and BBQ fest.

Nice and raggedy for the home opener.

It's an embarrassment that Tiger fans cannot even be the first to use Tiger Lane.

Why do repeatedly have to bow at the feet of a production the majority of the city doesn't want?

That's nothing compared to the guy who was trying to empty his waste tanks from his rv on the grass.

I should have qualified that with "the majority of businesses in Memphis don't want".

Everyone with whom I've spoken finds this crowd to be unruly and bad for business.

I also have first hand experience on how bad it is due to a time when my wife and I lived on Fenwick, which is a through street between Central and Poplar. I love having my street blocked off and people discharging firearms in my front yard. I really do.

You should head over there and ask to see parking permits.

If officials already had to prevent one person from digging a fire pit and another from dumping his RV waste, then why are they not enforcing the set up rule and making them leave until tomorrow?

If by beautiful thing you mean "something I don't want to be there for" then yes, I agree.

b/c the city doesnt wanna do anything to pi$$ Fred Jones off. That will be the biggest damn circus over there this weekend and I'd bet TL gets torn to shreds. Hell, the building they built at TL was spec'd with bullet proof glass.

Cardboard structures already seen going up on the lawn. Makes a heckuva lot better bed than pavement.

This just in, on Monday the DA will declare Tiger Lane a nuisance due to the event of this coming weekend and will ask the court shut it down.
