Ireland's Restaurant
So what ever happened to Ireland's restaurant? I remember my mother taking me there when I was a kid and we'd see Wyeth Chandler there. Anyone remember the address?

RE: Ireland's Restaurant
I remember some kick-azz steak biscuits from Ireland's. Look for it every time I'm in that area, but I don't think it's there anymore, and from what I can tell hasn't been for a long long time. (I lived in Victorian Village for a while back in the 70's)

Steak (Tenderloin) and Biscuits with little thin fries. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm

It was located on Monroe probably in the 500 to 600 something block.

It was a Neely's BBq for a while and then became "Pure Passion" Strip Club.

BBQ joint to strip club, the life cycle of a Memphis commercial property.

It was on Jefferson, just west of Orleans. Between Manassas and Danny Thomas. Building is still there, but I don't know what's in it.

It was always packed and quite popular with the downtown lunch crowd. Those steak biscuits were scrumptious.

RE: Ireland's Restaurant
Actually, there were two locations for Irelands. The original was on Jefferson where Neely BBQ is currently. The second was on Brooks Road where Pure Passion was located.

RE: Ireland's Restaurant
I thought Neeley's is in the old Irelands. Thanks for verifying that.
