OT- Resident Evil: Afterlife
Is anyone excited for the new Resident Evil movie? Do you think it'll look good in 3D? Have you seen the other Resident Evil movies?

I think it's going to be a great movie and with it being in 3D it should give it a whole new look. I was watching the "making of" video and they said that it is the same 3D technology that James Cameron used for Avatar. So the 3D graphics shouldn't be cheesy. I've seen all of the Resident Evil movies, I love Milla Jovovich. They were all very good, but I'd have to say the 2nd movie (Apocalypse) was my favorite.

Here's the trailers for those who haven't seen them

RE: OT- Resident Evil: Afterlife
I'm thinking about seeing it, even though the last Resident Evil movie I saw was the first one. I saw Piranhas 3D and loved it, the graphics were cheesy but they may have been part of the allure, though I'll admit you have to be in the right frame of mind, but I laughed my a-- off for all 80 minutes. So I may see the new Resident Evil, just to see if a somewhat more serious movie has the same effect.

Im not a horror movie buff but for some reason I love me some Resident Evil. I'll prolly be there opening night. I'm really loving this new RealD 3D wave everyone is jumping on, maybe we'll be able to get rid of the glasses soon and have natual 3D in ALL our media.
