A ULL fan making fun of someone's coach . . . that's humorous. As was that 128 yards ULL put up against Georgia. Red Wolves will beat ULL, and then play the real UL at home in a few weeks.

When did ya'll put Louisville on your schedule??

03-lmfao

uhh Last year? We really do play Louisville at home 3 weeks after ULL.

Dadgumit. Here I am trying to be snarky with the "real UL" bull dung we hear. ALL. THE. TIME. and there you go messing it up with pesky things like facts.

I guess alls I can do is leave you some erep.

I agree with you. ASU looked promising in their game this week, and I think they will be a contender this year. On the other hand, ULL looked PATHETIC. There was nothing positive to say about their performance and unless they turn it around, they will be bottom dwellers this year.

I would take ASU -14 against ULL all day

Chris, we will see what the chicken hawks look like Saturday. You guys are talking a lot of sh*t about our performance, name (what a freakin surprise) and Tech's attendance. All that cheap talk from a program playing yet another home game in Little Rock this year and hasn't accomplished jack yet this season.

I look forward to handing out some chicken feet stickers on this board Saturday night.05-nono05-mafia

Cajun T don't worry, ULM will receive the worst ass whippin of the conference this weekend. Ryan Mallet is the SEC's best shot at the Heisman Trophy and he will pass for 300+ and 5 TD's before this game is over.

you do know how bad we have been on the road the past several years right?

we might win...sure But I certainly wouldnt put any money on us winning much less by 2 TD's

I didnt come away from the Auburn game as impressed as most fans. Auburns defense has always been notoriously awful and our defense looked horrible themselves.

That being said ULL looked worse then we did by far. We at least showed up

I'm of the opinion that Week Two's Cajuns v. Wolves match up will be most akin to a SunBelt Thunderdome.

Two coaches enter....one coach leaves.

The loser ultimately will be looking for a new coach.

Just like last year and the year before, right. Oh but this years team is different?? I seem to remember you guys giving Iowa all they wanted last year only to limp home the rest of the season

You better hope you beat us. I promise you, you will not hear the end of it if you don't.

Rice @ North Texas should be close. The homer in me says North Texas wins.

MTSU better win. Like the Belt can afford to be playing FCS teams. Our conference needs to earn more respect by beating teams in other FBS conferences. Squeezing an extra by week/ easy win into your schedule is not what I expect from a top of the Belt bowl team.

The 5 other Sun Belt teams lose. All road games. All against BCS teams. We need a conference rule stating that only 3 body bag games can be scheduled per week. It looks bad when most of the Sun Belt is getting crushed on Saturdays. You guys should be playing more MWC (preferably New Mexico), C-USA (UAB, Tulane), and WAC teams.

Just my opinion.

I think the positives of a "guaranteed" W (better chance at bowl eligibility, extra # in the W column at the end of the season, home game with no return, etc.) outweigh the negatives (schedule strength). Schedule strength has only hurt the nation's top 5 teams in the past. We're not really in that company.

And I'm not sure MT is the team to rag on. MT recently had, and continues to have, some of the most winnable and desirable schedules in the conference with fewer guaranteed L's. (Maryland-UVA-MSU-GT-Memphis-Vandy-Akron-Ball St. at home)

That said I expect a 1-AA, winnable AQ game, and two non-AQ games every year in OOC with at least 2 of those at home. MT seems to have passed the hump where we need a big pay-day game and I expect the other SBC teams to have similar OOC schedules (including 1-AAs) in the near future.

I don't expect to win, but I do expect to put up more than 5 first downs the ENTIRE GAME. Hell yall almost had as many turnovers as you did first downs. Cajuns suck.

Actually I agree with you. Mallet will get his yards and his TD's. All we're looking for is to see how the Warhawks perform under the circumstances with the new HC and a new quarterback. We're not going to pretend we have a chance in this game but I'm looking for better attitude and good execution. But I don't think this will turn into a 55-7 style whipping though.

Well, then the Cajuns will play ULM in Monroe once again in the mythical "Suck Bowl". The difference is, we won't go shopping at Dollar General for a coach; we will at least hire one that has won.

The season is not over yet, it wasn't after Nebraska last year.

Dude I never expected to win @ Georgia, I was hoping for a miracle, but they had two pick 6's. Our defense played well considering our offense was putrid.

Much like ULM this week, I just wanted to keep it close and see something positive come out of that game. I saw a defense that was better and an offense that was non-existent.

Arkansas 48
ULM 10

You guys have been talking a lot of smack this week because you haven't played a game yet. After the Hawgs rescue your attendance numbers with this faux home game they will wreck your pride with the arse kicking they hand you. Much like UGA did to Louisiana.

Again, Jr...provide something meaningful to the conference. Make an NCAA tourney in one of the major sports....then talk trash. Why dont you guys have a President yet? Can't get one for a buck 50, huh???

Maybe you didn't notice, but I'm a North Texas fan. You know the only team not to play a FCS team. Clemson and Kansas State are far from cracker jack teams. Rice and Army may not be top level FBS teams, but they can play. I don't like the big programs doing it either. It is my opinion that if you want to play FCS teams move down to the FCS.

AQ's play fcs teams all the time. As long as we only play them on occasion and we win the games, I don't have a problem with it.

Agreed. As long as our conference teams take care of business, I see no problem with it, especially if it is an in-state team that will travel well, which can be hard to find in FBS when you play in the sun belt.

Watching college football live right now, I know this horse cannot be beaten more, but damn, Lou Holtz really needs to not be on television, when I hear that voice it's worse than nails on a chalkboard.

Tennessee Tech should travel well. We will be their "Super Bowl" and since we used to be rivals in the OVC, it will be even more special. Tenn Tech is located in a beautiful area of Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau. They have a great trout river (stocked) nearby that I fish fairly regularly (if any of you guys ever travel to an MT game, I can give you a great rate if you want to do a wade trip while you are up for the game). They are a pretty good tech school that puts out some great engineers. I could see them bringing a couple of thousand.
