Robert, this is Paris not Dubai. There is a real problem in every part of the world where Muslims become a 'large' minority.

Philippines - Terrorism, they want to split the nation
Thailand - Terrorism, they want to split the nation
East Timor - Terrorism (you get the idea)

In Nations where Muslims are not a large minority where regions exist that they are there are problems like the ones listed in the article where 'grass roots sharia' takes over neighborhoods (Paris, Amsterdam).

The problem is that Sharia is 100% incompatible with western freedoms.

Look in terms of Basic Theology I have way more in common with a Muslim than a Mormon (or a Buddhist), but ask me who I think is *less* likely to be a problem if they are 20% of a city.

Overall, I don't know how you can say that the overall Hispanic immigrant population has assimilated to life in the U.S., especially compared to European immigrants from a generation or two ago.

... I could go on but the fact is any group that came over, in large numbers, after 1800 brought with them a culture that took a generation or two to integrate and they brought crime.

Hispanics integrate well, not because they don't want to learn English, but because they have learned that to make it in America, you have to be more violent, depraved and despicable than previous immigrants.
