I really liked the sun on FIU's old uniforms. I thought it looked sharp and really stood out, what a shame. You guys have an enormous student population so there's not reason why you shouldn't have 300 in the next 5 years or so.

I do think the director is being a bit ambitious, especially with coming in and immediately ordering up a new fight song. But if the school doesn't mind ...
As for the USA poster, come back after your program plays a I-A opponent.
The angle (of the dancers, NOT the cheerleaders) was facing an end zone.
That was me. If you are going to call me out, at least call me out by name!
I was making a joke, but obviously the attendance wasn't great for FIU last year. I don't know why a Troy fan feels the need to stand up to a USA fan in FIU's stead. Oh wait, I remember. They are the great mediators of the universe!
FIU placed 119 out of the 120 teams in cumulative attendance. That is obviously nothing to be proud of. USA would have been 89. In average attendance FIU was 119 out 120, and USA would have been 98. I would say a program playing I-A teams in a huge city like Miami should have MUCH better attendance than a team that has yet to play an I-A opponent. Just sayin'.
Skully, I appreciate your comments, not enough owls fans over here to bash the kitties, and I have noticed several of your comments directed towards them, always good

Haha. I have nothing against FIU. I actually like their dance team and Pep Band (haven't heard their marching band before). Just making fun of the obvious. Funny that it was a Troy fan who found offense in it!
You can see our old uniforms in this video pretty clearly, I thought they were sharp myself. Oh well, the sun is gone, but at least the band is back.

You mistake "offense" with amusement that a fan of a team that plays just above the high school level, in a stadium that's not its own, would criticize a program with a nice new stadium.
