I've never found the "smurf turf" in Boise particularly offensive to the eyes, but that...that...ouch. Just ouch.

I think it's bad a! Lol, once it's used a bit by the team and band it'll wear down the brightness of it.

You can't even see the player when wearing the red jerseys.

As bad as the Smurf Turf is this is even WORSE. I never watch any of Boise's home games because that blue turf is so nasty.

Good God. It was bad enough when turf started replacing grass, but now this blue and red turf is pure sacrilege!

I thought the NCAA made a rule that no one can put colors like that after Boise State did it? I thought they were the only ones allowed because they had done it before the rule.

I had thought the same, but Boise has replaced and updated their turf a few times.

I've heard two explanations on that

A) It only applies to FBS programs(FWIW division II University of New Haven also has a blue field, installed a couple of seasons ago)

B) It was just a rumor and no such rule actually exists

OUCH!!!!! MY EYES!!!!! I get a freaking headache just by looking at it. The NCAA needs to step in here cuz this is ridicules. If I was an opposing coach, I would protest and refuse to play these guys.
