Geography matters only in terms of TELEVISIONS (dollars) and TRAVEL (ad budgets).

Other than that, most of these conferences look like SWC models.

And we all remember how that turned out.

Geographical conferences make the most sense in a playoff scenario where all divisions/conferences/regions have equal access to playoff spots.

Also, how does Hawaii get left off but you've got I-AA teams included?
