Tell us about your seperate volleyball center
Located in the Mean Green Village, the Volleyball Center offers a new competition venue for North Texas volleyball. The Volleyball Center comprises a completely renovated playing surface of Robbins Sport Wood parquet flooring and spectator seating that can accommodate 600 Mean Green fans. With primary floor markings for volleyball, this venue is truly a place that North Texas volleyball can call its own. The Volleyball Center was the host site for the 2006 Sun Belt Conference volleyball championship.
Connected to the Volleyball Center is the office and locker room complex which houses team meeting rooms with built in audio/visual capabilities for volleyball, soccer, golf, swimming and softball teams. Amenities include state of the art locker rooms for volleyball, soccer and softball. Coaching staff offices, staff locker room, laundry facility, visitors and officials dressing rooms and auxiliary sport training room are included in this facility.

Located next to the Mean Green Soccer Complex, Lovelace Stadium provides the Mean Green with an inviting competition venue. The field boasts Hilltopper synthetic infield surface and warning track and a natural turf outfield along above ground dugouts and bullpens. The outfield wall is 200 ft. from home plate on the foul lines and 220 ft. in center field. Mean Green fans can enjoy the action from the permanent stadium seating topped by an enclosed and climate controlled press box. The field is lighted by a state of the art Musco lighting system.
Tell us about your soccer field, how does it compare ?
The Mean Green Soccer Field is home to the women’s soccer program. The Mean Green played on its new field for the first time in the 2006 season. The complex features a natural turf playing surface that is 115 yards in length by 72 yards in width, permanent stadium seating for 1000 Mean Green fans, press box, and equipment storage. The complex is surrounded by a black iron fence and block wall that separate this complex from the surrounding Mean Green Village and parking areas. The field is lighted by a state of the art Musco lighting system. The Mean Green soccer field served as host to the 2008 Sun Belt Soccer Championship.
In addition to the brand new soccer complex, other soccer facilities include an office and locker room complex, which houses team meeting and locker rooms with built in audio/visual capabilities, trophy cases, visitors and officials dressing rooms and an auxiliary sports medicine training room.
The North Texas soccer field has received renovations with the additions of new covered benches and a press box. The press box has seating for up to 10 working members of the media, wireless internet access, and the latest in data and phone line capabilities. The benches encompass a large space for the home and visiting teams.

Natatorium for swimming & diving teams. How about Tech'sThe Pohl Recreation Center offers an eight-lane pool that serves as the home facility for the Mean Green Swimming and Diving program.There is also an adjacent recreation pool with three more lanes, a lazy river, whirlpool and 29-person spa.
Opened in August of 2003, the North Texas Pohl Recreation Center offers 138,000 square feet of fitness for students, faculty, staff and alumni.
The team also uses the adjacent PEB Natatorium, which has the diving well that features two 1-meter and one 3-meter springboards for the North Texas Diving Team, and another six-lane 25-yard pool that is used for training by the swimmers.
