Conference USA and the Sun Belt could make two regional conferences. We would quit giving so much of our travel budget to travel agents and actually have rivalries where fans could go out of town to see their teams play.

Now, the first thing some of you are going to say is ewwwww, I don't want to be in a league with ______________.

But remember, this is if everyone put their ego in their pocket.

I don't mind that from a FAU standpoint, I don't think charlotte needs to be in there though... can we get an established team in there?

I think regional confrences makes a whole lot of sense.

I wouldnt mind that confrence either that you have us in.

In regards to not having Charlotte and having a FBS team, who is out there?

I'll take it.....because Loser Tech would never stoop that low.

If you are naming a league for me I hereby set forth three edicts.

#1. Institutions offered membership in one of the six highest revenue leagues may depart without notice or penalty.

#2. Everyone is saving a ton on travel so invest in something that will produce wins, ticket sales, or both.

#3. This is a bus trip league so tip your driver well, you can afford with what you are saving on flights.

He probably was meaning an established team in the sense of one that is competing for bowl games. Like FIU.

The MWC has 11 and if BYU stays Houston takes the last MWC spot and UTEP slides in. If BYU goes UTEP takes a spot in the MWC along with Utah St. which also works.

Sorry, it will never happen because it makes sense

An alignment between Eastern SB & CUSA and Western SB and CUSA has oft been suggested but it makes just too much sense. I would leave Texas State San Marcos out until they show they are a viable fb division school. I have no idea what you are referring in relation to them and the SWC. I would let UTSA and TSSM earn their way and probably only consider the strongest. The CUSA and Belt leagues would be essentially kept with one being the Western and one the Eastern
leagues. In that way it would be a continuation of conferences and all NCAA credits would be maintained. They then could be renamed anything.

This is the best possible outcome. I think you are so on the money about being able to travel to opponents' stadiums.

And as far as UNCC, don't knock them.

1. they are in a large metro area.

2. they have a nice basketball program that was great back in the good ole days of Sunbelt basketball.

I think they would be a great add in this scenario.
