RE: MAC players in the NFL
Antonio Brown made the Steelers and will be embarassing the rest of the NFL on PR/KR and possibly playing a little in the slot.

Frank Zombo made the Packers as a UDFA at OLB (impressive considering he never played the position before).

Lefevour is now with Cinci, which is a better situation for him. The Bears OL is terrible, in Cinci he can learn behind Palmer and maybe eventually inherit the starting spot as he ages.

Got cut from Indy? Who do they have at QB that he couldn't beat out the starter?

The real question is why they kept Painter over Hiller. He has looked horrible.

It was never Hiller or Painter. It was Brandstater or Painter. Hiller was cut after the second preseason game. Painter got the job. Brandstater was signed to the practice squad.

The question of why Painter, however, is still very valid.

I don't know. Some clown named Manning or something. I don't think he will amount to much.

RE: MAC players in the NFL
I'll say what I've said before. Let's promote our seniors to give them a better shot at the NFL, a MAC senior bowl in February or March or later to avoid March madness. Instead of 13 separate pro days with minimal NFL attendance, why not make it easier for the NFL to see our boys. There are many NFL teams in our footprint that would likely send someone. Play inside in Detroit or Indy.

Most of our seniors don't get invites to the combines or other senior bowls anyways. East vs West division seniors. Fill in with 1AA, D2 or D3 but not the big 10 or any other FBS teams. Its all about us. Plus it would give us one more game to watch.

EJ will be the starter in this weekend's game, replacing the suspended Aqib Talib.

Talib returns the following week, so let's hope EJ makes a big splash.

RE: MAC players in the NFL
For a team that hasn't really won anything under Bill Cubit, you've got to admit that the Broncos have done a good job of getting players into the NFL. Jennings, Scheffler and Delmas are all great and Babin is a workhorse, who had some bad breaks early in his career.

Plus, who doesn't love a basketball player turned LT?
