Im voting 9-3, although 8-4 is highly likely here's my guess.
9/6 No Arizona W
9/13 Utah State W
9/20 at Iowa W
9/27 at Oregon St W
10/4 USC L
10/11 Oregon W
10/18 at No Carolina L
10/25 at UCLA L
11/1 California W
11/8 at Stanford W
11/15 at Wash St W
11/20 Arizona W

That's a pretty difficult schedule in my opinion...and maybe you tend to be a little biased - which is FINE! Because I myself am EXTREMELY biased.
I think a 6-6 record is pretty good considering your schedule. The games I disagree with are Iowa, OSU, and possibly Wash. State and/or Oregon
No hard feelings though because I like ASU athletics!

Thanks for the reply, I agree 6-6 is a possibility if injuries occur and players make mistakes, I look for the Iowa and Oregon games to be extremely tight, I actually think Wazzu is in for a big letdown this season and I think the Beavers are somewhat overrated, ASU has owned OSU for the past 2 decades and if ASU gets a mediocre ground game(they finished 95th last yr in rushing) their offense will be virtually unstoppable. They return their entire Oline 2 Deep from last season! Last year they had an extremely young offensive line and offensive backfield and still put up huge numbers!

Throwing in my 2 cents with 9-3. Losings Suggs hurts, but only so much I suppose.
I really should do more Sun Devil recruiting.....

SDSundevil...
I agree OSU tends to be overrated....I did not know about your recent sucess over wazzu...so who knows you very well may end up 9-3 or 8-4!

I don't think WSU will have a let down since we will have about 9 senior starters on defense and about 6 on offense. You know they always say experience helps if you got it and WSU certainly will. We will be just fine in Pullman. Go Cougs!

What up CougarReggie long time no hear, defensively you guys should be decent, although the loss of Trufant and Long will hurt a bit, I think the loss of Trufant will hurt worse he was a great player and you seemingly have more depth on the defensive front. Offensively I look for the Cougs to drop quite a bit with the loss of Bush, Gesser and your TB(forgot his name) Not to mention a new head coach Wazzu will not nearly match its offensive output from the last two seasons.

10-2 is possible but I dont see the trees winning that game, I think UCLA may be a sleeper and UO is hard to gauge as well, they may be primed for another 9 or 10 win season!
Welcome to the boards hope you stick around.

Yeah, the Pac 10 is unpredictable this year with USC, WSU and Cal all losing QBs. Should be wide open IMO. Nice board you guys got, I'll check it out.

Hey! I am glad to be back. The tailback that I think you are talking about is John Tippins but we do have Jermaine Green returning along with Allen Thompson and Jonathan Smith. If WSU wins 7-6 game this upcoming season then that is great. I just want to get to a bowl game and beat UW in Seattle. =) Go Cougs! I am going to miss Trufant, Bush, Roche, Riley, and Long but there are enough athletes to help the Cougars out this upcoming season.
ASU on the other hand will be really good. Even though MacDonald and Suggs won't be back the Sundevils have enough in the cupboard to do well. I guess we will all just have to wait and see though.

I think Wazzu can make a decent bowl, but I feel you guys will probably be 4-4 or 3-5 in conf play, the Cougs will be a tough game for the Devils on the road. But not as tough as the team they faced last season!
