Yea. That does sum it up pretty well. One of the highest compliments that I have received was from a family who has a lot of clout around the university in your neck of the woods, their names are on some of the buildings, they simply say this to me:

"You could SO be a Texan."

Mack Brown once told me that I was an honorary Longhorn fan due to his brother beating the U of M everytime they met. I might be the first person in history to get trash talked by Mack Brown, aka the nicest man in America.

Most Texans would want to shake your hand just for getting to talk to the guy. Ever since I saw the 2008 Red River Shootout (courtesy of said family) I have been impressed with everything Texas. Brown is an awesome guy.

The UT football team stays in my old hotel the night before home games. Through that, I've had the chance to meet a good deal of people with the Longhorn football program.....including Mack Brown. Mack Brown really is a truly decent person.
