While I think it's cool that these foriegn players are coming to the MLS to play. I wish it wasn't in the twilight of thier careers.

Who didn't play for Man U during the stockpile years of the early 2000s. Atletico Madrid won't be playing in Europe this year, so thought he might want to move to a Champions League team. he is 31, so I can see that working against him.

Speaking of the MLS...Where did Schevchenko ever end up post Chelsea? I wanted him to head on over to the US, but he didn't. Also, is Blanco still in Chicago?

Spurs made a move for him during the winter transfer window but were shot down. They've soured on him a bit since Pavylyuchenko decided that he would now like to score goals. They feel that Defoe, Pav, Crouch, Keane, and Gudjonnsen are good enough for the CL this year. Since this is our only shot in the CL, I'd agree that Forlan isn't worth messing up our finances.

Gudjonnsen was a loan deal, are you getting him back? Also, looks like you've got Gio 2 Santas as well.

RE: Transfer Window...Who moves?
We are trying to work out another loan deal for Gudjonnsen. Gio Dos Santos can't crack our lineup. He'd have to become better than Aaron Lennon, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Niko Krankjar, and possibly Joe Cole. The best thing for Gio is for Spurs to sell him off. He has great talent, but can't stay out of the night clubs. Redknapp has lost faith in him
