Top 10 reasons why I hate Troy:

1. Pike County's new campaign slogan: "What happens in Troy probably happened with your own sister."

2. Too many players developing respiratroy infections from trying to smoke all that field turf.

3. Qualifications for guaranteed admission include breathing, walking and on parole.

4. Fans think USC stole "Men of Troy" from them.

5. Sure they lost to Bowling Green, but didn't you know that six years ago they beat Missouri?

6. Alabama no longer allows handicapped parking with a Troy diploma.

7. You now have to park your car and actually get out of it on campus to get your diploma.

8. All freshman greeted by Larry Blakeney and brown sandwich bag full of cash.

9. People from Dothan drive to Troy to "slum it."

10. People from Troy drive to Enterprise for a "night on the town."

You forgot #11 Troy has destroyed MT dreams of being relevant in any sport in the SBC besides women's basketball.

You mean the bowl game that you didn't earn your way into? There was not a second bowl tie in for the SBC. Had everyone fulfilled their bowl commitments you would have been at home again. Face it the college football world looks at MT as a Troy wanna be. By starting threads on reasons to hate Troy it just shows how really jealous MT fans are of Troy.

Our dreams of being relevant? I'd say calling MT irrelevant in any SBC sport, with the possible exception of softball, is downright ignorant, that is unless you guys have finally convinced the conference to sponsor rodeo.

I for one respect Middle more than anyone else in our Conference. That is why I am so proud of the fact that we've owned them the past four years. I am a big Blue Raider fan when they play anyone else, even in-conference.

I didn't start the thread and I've heard a lot more about us beating Southern Miss than I've heard about Troy football, other than them discussing your bowl loss on a rare occasion. Why would we wanna be a school in the backwoods of Alabama? The answer is; we wouldn't.

Also, we earned our way into that bowl game by winning games and ended up going 10-3. Tell me again, when has Troy gone 10-3 in FBS?
