Your Congressman / Congresswoman
Are you voting to reelect your "representative"?

I will be doing my level best to put mine on the unemployment line because he doesn't represent me, when I have called his office his arrogant staff tells me I am wrong and has no interest in hearing from their constituents.

I think everyone, no matter the party, needs to be run out of congress. I also think that true term limits need to be put in place. Nobody should become a political fixture. Get in, get out. That simple.

Mine used to be Steve Driehaus back in Cincinnati, who I was unimpressed with, but the guy looks like a mavericky genius compared to my new one in MD, Donna Edwards, who's just a party record hack. Can't stand her as a Congresswoman or as a person. Unfortunately I don't even think the GOP is nominating anybody to go up against her.

Welcome to the northeast corridor, home of scores of safe districts for one party or the other. Its like a friend of mine from Omaha (Iowa suburbs) has said there's a reason why Missouri and Iowa are doing well compared to a lot of other states that happen to be wealthier and better populated. That reason is that there's little gerrymandering and power is always switching hands all the time leading to a more pragmatic approach to delivering solutions and services.

We definitely need to get rid of career politicians. Frankly, I think being the kind of person who wants to seek a political position automatically disqualifies him for a position in politics...
